Dr. Mohamed Mohieldin Babiker is a Collegiate Member of the Royal College of Physicians, UK. He possesses over 40 years of internal medicine experience spanning across Sudan, Saudi Arabia and the UK.
He earned his MBBS, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree with a Distinction in Paediatrics and Credit in Medicine in Khartoum, Sudan in 1977. He then went on to achieve his MRCP, Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians degree in the UK in 1987. He was then elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh.
Dr. Babiker completed a one year internship and then had extensive training in Paediatrics for an additional year in Khartoum, Sudan. After which, he moved to the UK to advance his expertise and attain his post-graduate degrees and worked in various renowned hospitals throughout the UK for 15 years.
He then moved to Saudi Arabia and worked at Johns Hopkins Saudi Aramco Health Care (JHAH) as a Consultant in internal medicine since 1995 until he moved to Dubai in March 2021. He has a wide range of abilities and vast experience in dealing with all aspects of acute and chronic medical conditions. Additionally, he was dealing with sick patients in all areas of care within the hospital. Currently, he is a Consultant of internal medicine at Doctors Clinic Diagnostic Center in Dubai.
He is a highly esteemed doctor and has managerial experience as a Deputy Head Internist. He also has numerous publications under his name. He is truly passionate about getting his patients to a state of optimal overall health. Furthermore, he enjoys educating and motivating them to achieve and maintain a healthy status by making the required recommendations during consultations and upholding regular visits.
Dr. Babiker’s main areas of focus include internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, diabetes and gastroenterology.
Due to his extensive experience, Dr. Babiker has also engaged in teaching medical students and house officers in the practical management of acute medical problems. He has been involved with various specialities ranging from structuring and conducting residency programs to recognising and managing cardiopulmonary emergencies across Saudi Arabia and the UK.
He believes in an efficient as well as comprehensive approach when providing medical care to his patients.
